8/01 (Sun) My Lunch Day & August Schedule (Ikoma)

Ikoma's Special August Schedule begins today. Click here for the schedule (PDF).
The first Sunday of every month at Ikoma Chapel is "My Lunch Day."
No lunch will be served. Please take this opportunity to go out and enjoy fellowship with your friends and family. Chapel facilities are also be available.

8/07 (Sat) Old Friendly Chapel Cleaning (Ikoma)

10:00 at Ikoma Chapel's Old Friendly Chapel
We plan to clean up, and thank God for, the old Friendly Chapel after Jim and Barb move to their new home on August 5. Join us for cleaning, food, and prayer.

8/14 (Sat) Summer Praise, Prayer & Pool (Ikoma)

Starts at 12:00 at Ikoma Chapel
Come share in a time of eating and fellowshipping with friends and praise and prayer at Friendly Hall, from any time after 12:00 noon. A bus will take children swimming from 13:30. If you have any questions, please talk to Steve or Josiah. Or contact us for more details.
From 13:45 to 14:00, after the event, we clean up the hall, rooms, etc. Your cooperation is appreciated.

A day event at Kizu River
Keep this day open as Kyoto Chapel is planning a barbecue for families.

English Circle with Mark (Kyoto)

13:30~14:30 Second and fourth Sunday of the month at Kyoto Chapel
Schedule: Fall Term 9/11 ~ Dec.
A fun and interesting conversation class for college students. Small class size, free trial lesson, and walk-in visits allowed.
Fee: only 1,500 yen per month. Contact us for more details.

Baptism Postposed

The group baptism scheduled on 8/08 (Sun) is postposed until the autumn. Watch this space for further updates.

Bible Hour Schedule (Kyoto Chapel)

Starting in July, Kyoto Chapel will be experimenting with a slightly new time schedule. From 11:00 to 11:15 will be a coffee time to allow people to meet after their English class. Bible hour is scheduled to then start at 11:15. Contact Pastor Gregg Hutton or Mark Wolter about you thought on this new arrangement.

August Schedule & English Class Break (Ikoma Chapel)

Like last summer, the English conversation program at Ikoma Chapel will take a break for the month of August. Like Kyoto Chapel, in August Ikoma Chapel will have a varied schedule. Click here to download the schedule in PDF format.

Courtesy Shuttle Bus (Kyoto Chapel)

The courtesy shuttle bus from Shintanabe and Kyotanabe stations to Kyoto Chapel picks up passengers at 10:45 and 10:50, respectively. The shuttle service to these stations is no longer operating at 9:45 and 9:50, prior to English class and Bible study. We will continue to operate the shuttle each week before our 11am worship service and the return shuttle at 2pm after lunch. Thank you for your understanding in this schedule change.

Parking (Ikoma Chapel)

As of December 27, 2009, the temporary parking lot just south of the Hanna Doro Ikoma IC entrance for Osaka is no longer available.

For safety and ease, we would like to reserve the parking spaces near Chapel for people with small children and for those who have difficulty walking. If at all possible, we request that you take advantage of our free shuttle service from Ikoma Station. Your understanding and cooperation is much appreciated.
