12/23 (Tue) - Christmas Concert

This year's Christmas program at Ikoma Chapel's Friendly Hall was an amazing success. It included a concert of various chapel members and a fresh presentation of the Christmas story. Following the concert, there was a tasty lunch with our family and friends.

 
 

11/09 (Sun) - American Cooking Class in Ikoma

Once again, Barbara Gish's cooking class was a great success. The menu was Pizza! People brought their favorite toppings and they made the crust and sauce together in class. The class is held about once a month. Watch our homepage for the next time American Cooking Class will be held. 

 
 

10/22 (Wed) - Married Men's Meeting

Married Men's Meeting at Friendly Hall begins. This will be a special Bible Study and prayer time with the purpose of training men to be godly husbands and fathers. This Meeting will be scheduled once a month. 

 
 

09/26 - Welcome Back BBQ at CrossRoads Cafe

Welcome Back Barbeque for all the college students returning to school after the summer vacation. It was a great success. Thanks to all who put effort into it.

 
 

09/23 - Baptism at Friendly Hall

12 new believers were baptized. Beforehand, Some gave a short testimony on how the Lord saved them from their sins. If you are interested in getting a copy of their testimony (sorry, Japanese only) please contact us.

 
 

09/23 - Dedication Service of at Friendly Hall

This is a time set apart of praise, worship, prayer and a message for Christians.

 

08/01~06 - Staff Retreat by Jerry White at Friendly Hall

This was a series of days devoted to refreshing the ICM staff and pastors. A team of volunteers also came as support roles to encourage and service in anyway possible.

06/07 - "Three Principles that Lead to Success" Seminar at KIU

This was  a one day seminar by Dr. Mestre, a visiting business professor to KIU. The topic was how basic Christian principles can be successfully applied to individuals in business and organizations. 

 

05/09 - Hugh Brown's Story at CrossRoads Cafe (Kyoto Chapel)

"...Hugh is from Northern Ireland but has now worked in Japan for some 15 years. After investing time and energies in planting a congregation in the town of Ibogawa, High is now focusing more of his time on prison ministry, particularly in Kobe, where he has been granted unprecedented access to meet with inmates. A recent book by Hugh concerning the moral issues behind violence was published in Japan at the beginning of 2001, and he is having increasing opportunities for a wider and more public ministry..."

04/11 - Friday Night Coffeehouse Restarts as "CrossRoads Cafe"

Every Friday at 7:30PM. CrossRoads Cafe (Friday Night Coffeehouse) starts at Kyoto Chapel. Come enjoy the international atmosphere and fun of Friday Night Coffeehouse. It's only 200 yen for unlimited coffee, tea, popcorn and of course ...fun
