12/23 (Sun) - Christmas Celebrations

Kyoto Chapel and Ikoma Chapel enjoyed a time of Christmas music and performances by a various Chapel Christians and children. Lunch and desserts was served. And the celebration continued into the early afternoon.

11/15~20 A Few More Guests from DOULOS

We were blessed to have a few more Doulos members take part in Sunday morning services, CWS, CrossRoads, Ladies English Club, and Missions Night. They shared their testimonies and experiences on the ship from around the world. The team included our own Kenichi Goto, Makoto Kawaguchi, Saw Ai Hua from Malaysia, and Hannah Quadrio from Australia.

8/31 Kyoto Chapel Third Annual Summer Festival

Another great time was had at Kyoto Chapel's Summer Festival. Lots of food booths, game booths, snack booth and other things. As in past years, a number of the community came to join in the fun. Thanks to all who helped in this event.

5/20 Guest Speakers from DOULOS

The Doulos is a passenger liner-size ship that sails around the world, stopping at various ports and helping the local churches with evangelism, training, etc. The Doulos team of 5 members, all from different countries, visited us for a week encouraging us with messages, testimonies, and skits.

2/16 Yukari Gospel - Live Gospel Concert

As CrossRoads Cafe was closing for the season, we had special treat ... A Live Gospel Concert with Yurari Karahara. Her husband and rap artist, Yoshi Blessed (Yoshiyuki), preformed as well. Also, Tsuneyoshi Noda was there doing an amazing job on the piano.

This year the New Year's Eve began on a Sunday. What a better way to ring in the year than to celebrate all that the Lord has done and look to Him to continue to work in our lives this coming year!
